Powercube SMPC, a 100% subsidiary of Renel Energy & Power Engineering, is building its first energy portfolio in Grevena, Western Macedonia, Greece.
This is Renel’s step from designing energy projects for others to owning and operating generation and storage of its own.
Six photovoltaic stations, each pairing generation with storage:
- 550 kWp of solar generation per station
- 2 MWh of battery storage per station
- 3.3 MWp and 12 MWh across the full portfolio
- Grevena, Western Macedonia, a region in energy transition
- Currently under construction, commissioning expected in 2026
